Summary
Are you passionate about careers advice and guidance to support young people in making informed choices about their future? Crowdys Hill is seeking an inspiring job coach to support the development of our careers programme and support our pupils to secure appropriate work experience placements. Crowdys Hill is a dynamic and forward thinking special school for pupils with moderate learning difficulties and complex needs from across the Borough of Swindon. You will guide students during crucial decision-making periods raising aspirations and supporting them to make well informed and realistic decisions. You will support the Careers Lead to ensure the school meets its statutory duty detailed in the National Careers framework and that it meets all of the Gatsby benchmarks. You will work with local employers to develop links and positive working relationships within the local community. You will complete risk assessments to ensure the safety of our pupils. Are you: able to communicate effectively with students, staff and external agencies? able to prioritise your workload and manage your time effectively? passionate about supporting young people to achieve their goals and aspirations? familiar and knowledgeable regarding local businesses and work opportunities available for young people? organised and approachable? competent using a variety of ICT programme?calm and reliable attitude with common sense?If this sounds like the job for you, then we can offer:
