Front End Developer | HIGH WYCOMBE

We’re looking for a fabulous Front End Developer to join our digital design team and play a key role in delivering The Perfume Shops digital strategy.

You’ll do this by developing amazing new digital initiatives, to further engage our customers and to improve the brand experience.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

· Support the Digital Design Manager with the delivery of The Perfume Shop’s Digital Strategy

· Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of The Perfume Shop’s websites, providing regular feedback to the Digital Design Manager on findings whilst ensuring the appropriate actions are taken as necessary

· Incorporate relevant content into web pages and emails, escalating to the Digital Design Manager where necessary

· Understand and continually work with The Perfume Shop’s brand guidelines, creating an engaging look and feel for the website

· Share coding best practice with the Design Team, working with them to evolve their coding skills and use in their day-to-day creative work

· Support with the build of A/B tests to consistently improve and evolve the performance of the websites

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

· Working knowledge of Figma, Photoshop and Visual Studio Code (or alternatives) as well as an understanding of design fundamentals such as type, colour, layout and imagery creation.

· Good understanding of responsive design

· Knowledge of HTML best practice

· Good understanding of Web Accessibility & SEO

· Strong knowledge of content management platforms

· Knowledge of working with Single Page Applications
