Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 staff nurse to join our friendly, experienced and supportive team on the Neonatal Unit. We are one of three Tertiary Level 3 Neonatal Intensive units providing Specialist care to sick term and preterm baby's. The unit comprises of 37 cots, 9 Intensive Care, 9 High Dependency and 19, Special Care. The Neonatal Unit offers therapies such as cooling, high frequency oscillation and nitric.
We also provide a Transitional Care service to reduce separation for baby's and their families and a well established outreach and research team.
We are proud to say we have achieved a Green accreditation in Family Integrated Care and give high standards of care to the baby's and work in partnership with the families and Stage One Baby Friendly Accreditation.
Caring for sick and preterm baby's who require specialist Intensive Care, high dependency and Special Care. As a member of our team you will be supported to be flexible, reliable and motivated to foster a positive working environment which allows staff to show initiative and thrive.
To continue to work in partnership with the family to empower them to care for their baby, and also working towards accreditation for Baby Friendly Initiative.

This vacancy is open to those who have a current NMC PIN to practice as an Registered Nurse or Midwife in the UK, or those who are currently enrolled on a course which means they expect to receive their full NMC PIN within the next 3 months. Please note an NMC PRN PIN is not a full NMC PIN and would not fulfil the essential criteria for this role.
