Summary

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join the Guinness Team, as the team needs to expand to meet the current Change/IT Plan and additional responsive demand from the business. This is a permanent, full-time vacancy which is based in our Oldham, Bower House office, we are currently working to a hybrid working style.

The overall purpose of the role is to plan, lead and deliver multiple, concurrent technical or business change projects to the agreed scope, budget and timescales that meet customer and business requirements. The Guinness Partnership has an extremely exciting and ambitious Change/IT Plan. If you were successful, you could be Project Managing some of the following projects:

  • A new contact centre implementation for a new Housing Association coming into the Group.
  • The wider Housing Association Integration Project.
  • A vast range of Data related projects to ensure delivery of our data ambition (including Data Discovery, Microsoft Fabric Assessment and Implementation).
  • Power Apps Discovery and Analysis projects.
  • Cyber Security & IT Integrations projects.
  • 'Extend our Digital Offer' (our customer offer for digital interactions for services).
  • Implementation of new modules NEC (our Housing Management System).
  • Records Management / SharePoint project.
  • New responsive demand which comes in to meet prioritised business need.

What we're looking for

You'll be able to demonstrate:

Essential:

  • Proven track record of delivering projects in a range of disciplines including people, processes, applications and technology.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Experienced in matrix management of delivery teams.
  • Commercial awareness and experience of contracting and managing third parties.
  • Experienced in the application of multiple project methodologies and able to determine appropriate use of a methodology.
  • Excellent oral and written communications including presentations.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, including MS Project for Planning, Tracking and Reporting.
  • Demonstrates the Guinness Behaviours.

Desirable:

  • Experience of cloud adoption projects.
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools & Cloud computing.
  • Proficient in use of delivery and collaboration tools (i.e. DevOps, JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, MS Teams).
  • Experience of ITIL Principles & processes.
  • Housing sector industry experience.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Professional qualification in Project Management PRINCE2, APM or similar.
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent professional experience.
