Summary

Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant Contract: Part time (26.8 hours per week), Permanent Salary: Grade D (£29,673 to £32,489) per annum Start: September 2024
Woodlands Academy are currently recruiting for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their friendly and supportive team. Working hours will be 8:30am to 3:30pm Monday to Thursday with a 30 minute lunch break and with one hour of CPD time pro rata (so 48 minutes). This will often be after school on a Wednesday joining our staff meetings. The role will predominantly be covering KS2 PPA and leadership time. Woodlands Academy is a single form entry primary school, with a nursery provision situation in Stockwood, Bristol. Our school is hidden off the main road, but has amazing school grounds with extensive field space, a forest area, a garden and three ponds.  At Woodlands, children are at the centre of everything we do. We aim to offer our pupils an education which supports and challenges every child to reach their full potential. We want children to leave Woodlands ready for the next stage of their education with age-appropriate life skills; respectful of others, their community and of themselves and resilient being able to face challenges bravely and confidently.
