Job description
30 hours per week
Temporary until 31 August 2025
We are looking for a passionate, inspiring and conscientious Learning Support Officer to join our highly motivated team at Nantymoel Primary School. An ability to contribute to the warm, caring ethos of the school is essential. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills, good interpersonal skills, show initiative, share in the planning and evaluation of activities and work well as part of a dedicated team.
We require someone who can enable learners to achieve their best and have the ability and skills to engage and nurture primary aged pupils. Good standards of Literacy and Numeracy are essential.
Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees
Criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post
