This is a full-time role, working 37 hours per week.

Day to day duties of the role

- To support the Curriculum Lead to design and develop a work and class-based curriculum that meets the needs of employers, supports growth, and enables apprentices to develop the skills they need to progress.

- To Effectively lead, manage and develop the implementation of work and class-based curriculum ensuring that it supports a high-quality experience.

- To lead, motivate and develop a team of staff who can deliver an outstanding quality of Education for apprentices on work based and class-based learning programmes.

- To work collaboratively with cross-college teams to ensure the wider knowledge, skills and behaviours learners need are planned and developed coherently (e.g., Maths, English, Careers, digital etc.)

Required skills and qualifications

- Vocational qualification at a minimum of level 3, which is appropriate to the Engineering, MV and Green Skills sector.

- Assessors Qualification

- A Strong understanding of the Quality Assurance process.

- A Breth of Knowledge, understanding and professional experience of the Engineering, MV and Green Skills Sector.
