Summary
Pre-Construction Manager
Opportunity for a Pre-Construction Manager to work for a leading Main Contractor based in the Midlands. This is an exciting new role to manage an existing team, workload and grow a successful division.
About the role of Preconstruction Manager
As Pre-Construction Manager, you will be to oversee and manage the existing Pre-Construction team across Bids, Estimating, Proposals, Business Development, and design. For this Region being Midlands and North the current project sectors include Commercial, Student Accommodation, Industrial, Hotels, Education and Healthcare across a mixture of values typically up to £80 Million. With an existing turnover of Circa £200 Million and plans for this individual to support and grow the team further. For this role, the Preconstruction Manager will report directly into the Managing Director.
Responsibilities for Preconstruction manager
- Business Unit - Responsibility for delivering the business unit turnover and conversion targets with target Customers.
- Managing Customer and Consultant Relationships
- Leading Tender Presentations, interviews, and negotiations with client
- Develop and deliver 2 stage bids and PCSA agreements.
Requirements for Pre-Construction Manager
- 5-10 Years experience within Construction Preconstruction position with a Main Contractor
- Good Communication skills
- Team leadership, planning and time management skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships.
