Summary


The NHS Counter Fraud Authority (NHSCFA) is the national body responsible for all matters relating to the prevention, detection and investigation of economic crime across the NHS. Further information about our work and annual plan for delivering this is available on our website.

This post is an ideal opportunity for someone with the right skills, experience and motivation to devise and implement communications and marketing campaigns, ensuring the NHSCFA reaches its key audiences effectively. We’re looking for someone who has a background in staff communications and engagement, implementing effective communications campaigns and media relations to join our team. Be able to demonstrate initiative, strong administrative and organisational skills. We are keen to hear from candidates who have previous stakeholder, marketing, communications, or journalistic experience.

This role supports the work of the corporate communications team and is responsible for the delivery of a comprehensive communications service for the NHS Counter Fraud Authority (NHSCFA). It will cover both internal and external stakeholders using a diverse range of channels with a focus on media relations, content production and campaigns as well as working across the wider corporate communications portfolio.

We have offices based in Coventry, Newcastle and London and offer flexible, hybrid, office and home-based working. In addition to the advertised salary working in the London area will attract High-Cost Area Supplement where appropriate. Support the delivery of a comprehensive corporate communications service for the NHSCFA to both internal and external stakeholders working under the instruction of the senior communications officers

Produce a wide range of written content in an accurate and timely manner to include, but not restricted to, editorial for newsletters, articles and interviews for the web site and intranet as well as press releases and briefing notes/media statements

Support the preparation and delivery of campaign work for corporate programmes and specialist awareness raising initiatives for our teams including development of resources and content

Work across a range of programmes to provide support on creating messaging on complex and technical issues for a diverse range of audiences from front-line fraud investigators to the wider public

Using a range of communication skills, including writing and proofing, work across teams to produce a wide range of corporate publications from annual reports through to training guides
