Summary
About me:
I’m an energetic young boy who is looking for a personal assistant to support me with activities!
I am looking for somebody to take me to the park and beach, play with me in my garden, support me with personal care and to prepare snacks and dinner.
I enjoy going to Suffolk Food Hall to bounce on the bouncy pillow, I love to listen to music on YouTube and I especially love playing with playdough.I love to play in the garden and spending time at the local park and beach. I also love to feed the birds!
I love spending time in my garden enjoying playing with water and making potions. I also enjoy making mud pies! I regularly use my hot tub and play football in my garden.
I have a small dog and two cats at home. I have very little road awareness and sense of danger.
Essential Criteria:
• Patient and Caring
• UK Driving License and access to own vehicle
• Experience of children with autism
• Lots of energy!
Desirable Criteria:
• Previous experience with SEN
• Qualifications and previous training
within care and autism
Main Duties:
(Although this job description is correct at present, it may change from time to time after negotiation with the post holder)
• Support with personal care, around toileting and washing if needed.
• Prepare my snacks and dinner.
• Take me to local parks and the beach.
Terms and Conditions:
Hours of work - 4 hours per week available, hours to be worked on weekends and after school as well as in school holidays.
Flexibility of hours - Hours are flexible, to be discussed in interview.
Annual leave - The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work which would normally be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.
Background Checks - A satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check is required for this position. If successful, you will be required to provide details of two referees, one of which must be your current or most recent employer, or character references if you have not been employed.
Trial Period - This post is subject to a probationary period of 12 weeks.
