Summary

Teaching Personnel are looking for graduates specialising in specific subjects who wish to work within the education sector. We are currently working with multiple Secondary schools who are looking for Graduates for their Teaching Assistant and teaching roles. The schools are based in Northamptonshire and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support teachers in delivering KS3-KS4 lessons across English, Maths, &/or Science.

• Assist in the preparation of teaching materials, resources, and activities.

• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment conducive to positive progress.

• Collaborate with colleagues to assess progress and provide constructive feedback.

• Participate in extracurricular activities and school events as required by the school.

• Provide targeted 1:1 and small-group interventions for students, including those with diverse learning needs, to enhance their understanding and academic progress.

• Liaise closely with colleagues and parents/carers to provide updates on progress and plan effective next steps to safeguard attainment and progress.


Subject specialisms to be taught include (but are not limited to;

• Maths

• English

• Science

• History

• Geography

• Ethics and Philosophy/Religious Education

•MFL

• Technology

• Performing Arts (Drama, Dance, Music)

Qualifications/Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in English, Maths, Science, or a related field.

• Passion for education and a desire to make a difference in students' lives.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced educational setting.

• Previous experience working with young people, either through tutoring, mentoring, or volunteering, is advantageous but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
