Summary
Smart Door Solutions have a fantastic opportunity for an Project Manager Apprentice to join the team! Based in South Yorkshire, we are a specialist team with over 65 years of collective experience of automatic, commercial and industrial doors.

Apprentice Job Description:
JOB TITLE - Project Manager Apprentice
MAIN PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE JOB
Supports with project management, quotes & scheduling using
various software platforms.
DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Supporting management & clients to identify project
requirements, delivery timelines & costs
• Quoting for projects identified
• Chasing quotes as per company protocol
• Support with developing project plans to guide clients, staff
members & project teams & revising these based on changing
needs & requirements
• Identifying and assigning project tasks based on the skill sets,
experience and strengths of staff members
• Issuing P/O’s for both reactive & quoted works on Xero
• Supporting with the ordering of materials & chasing for ETA’s
• Monitoring project performance to ensure timely delivery
• Compiling & submitting project status reports to clients &
management
• Completion of finished project paperwork, such as O&M
manuals & invoices
• Developing excellent leadership, customer relations &
communication skills to liaise effectively with all project
stakeholders
• Complying with GDPR & keeping information confidential
• Updating job knowledge by participating in educational
opportunities
DESIRED SKILLS & PERSONAL QUALITIES
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a flexible approach
to working/learning in a busy, fast paced environment.
Some basic knowledge of general business processes would be
beneficial, but job specific knowledge & skills will be gained through
the apprenticeship.
We are looking for;

THE APPRENTICESHIP QUALIFICATION IS: Associate Project Manager Level 4, term 18 months, you will attend Barnsley College to complete the qualification/off the job training.
WORKING WEEK: 40 hours a week - Mon to Fri, 8am to 4.30pm
