Salary: Up to £65,000

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Requirements for the Service Manager role:
  • Nursing qualification (RGN/RMN/RNLD)
  • Valid NMC Pin
  • NVQ Level 5 Health and Social Care Management (Desirable)
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding, regulatory landscape, and legislation framework
  • Previous experience leading and inspiring a senior team and management of varying disciplines
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise as appropriate


About the Service:

Located on the outskirts of Nottingham, this beautiful service specialises in the treatment, care and support of individuals aged 18 and over with physical and cognitive impairments as a result of brain injury or other progressive neurological conditions.

Their clinical team is highly trained in the rehabilitation and care of adults with brain injuries and other neurological conditions. They are supported by a team of housekeeping, catering, maintenance and administration staff. Patients are able to access local adapted swimming and hydrotherapy services and have various outdoor areas at the service to enjoy.

The role of a Service Manager within the Service involves:
  • Ensuring the care and treatment delivered by the service is of high quality, safe and patient centred
  • Leading and inspiring the care and nursing team, maximising the potential of the team
  • Ensuring all the patients/residents and colleagues are safeguarded and concerns are raised
  • Being responsible for ensuring that all care standards, regulatory standards and other quality measurement criteria are met
  • Working independently with responsibility for all aspects of running the service including budgetary management (income and expenditure) and all statutory compliance of the property including fire management, infection prevention and control the services and facilities
  • Providing direct line management for the senior management team, ensuring there is cover arrangements, including out of hours on-call, if needed
  • Building excellent relationships with all colleagues and regulatory bodies
