Summary
We have an opportunity for an Animal Care Assistant/Receptionist to join our team at the Orford Lane Veterinary Surgery. The role may include working flexibly across the 3 practices that we have in Warrington.
The job holder will provide assistance to the veterinary nurses in the care of our patients and general maintenance of the surgery premises alongside helping to provide a professional, effective and organised client reception when required.
This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours a week on a rota between 8:30 am to 6:00 pm and a 1:3 to -1:4 weekend rota at our Beech House practice in Warrington which is taken back as TOIL and a share of Bank Holidays (up to two per year).
Previous animal handling experience would be a distinct advantage alongside prior experience of working in a veterinary setting. Previous experience in providing excellent customer service is preferred, although not necessarily within the veterinary industry. Full training will be provided.
