Summary


Working hours: This is a full-time role (35 hours per week) with the opportunity for hybrid and flexible working
Part-time working may be considered for an exceptional candidate (with a minimum of approximately 21 hours per week)

Salary: £45,000 to £55,000 per annum, subject to qualifications and experience.

Benefits: We offer a range of benefits including hybrid and flexible working, 11% non-contributory pension scheme, 25 days Annual Leave plus 8 public holidays pro rata. (rising to 29 days after 5 years continuous service)

You will support the Diocese of Chelmsford to be a transforming presence in Essex and East London, by enabling capital development projects on Diocesan property and land. The post holder will partner with our parishes, local councils and professional advisors to analyse project feasibility and to plan and manage a capital development programme through a variety of delivery methods, partnerships and vehicles.

ROLE DUTIES
•Supporting the Head of property to service corporate governance, by forming and developing policies and procedures and implementation through relevant committees.
•Produce and management documents e.g. project initiation documents, project action plans, risk logs. and delivering projects to schedule
•Conducting proactive cross-functional stakeholder engagement and communication by convening and managing project teams.
•Managing project budgets and cash flows.


CRITERIA
•Numerate and literate, and educated to GCSE/ standard or equivalent (including C or above in Maths and English)
•Proven experience as a project manager, with a demonstrable track record of successfully delivering the construction of a variety of complex developments and regeneration.
•In-depth knowledge and understanding of residential construction processes, including affordable housing.
•Experience of commissioning, instructing and client managing, a range of professional consultancy services.
