Summary




Reporting to the Service Support Manager, thepost holderwill be responsible for the devolved reception area. This includes being responsible for greeting patients, responding to emails and telephone requests, scheduling appointments, booking tests and prioritising, liaising with other departments, ensuring accurate data capture and entry, and any other duties as required. The post holder will need to adhere to Trust policies, the 18 week RTT pathway, and Standard Operating Procedures.

The day to day working relationships will include the clinical staff based in the clinic, patients, carers, internal and external staff from a variety of departments and hospitals, and you will be part of the wider administrative team.

The ideal candidate will be a quick learner and able to work in a fast paced environment. Candidates must be able to multi task and be able to prioritise their workload, especially during busy periods, whilst ensuring that patients are responded to appropriately. If you have good experience of customer service in a busy environment and can help ensure that patients are spoken to and communicated with in a fully confidential and caring waythen we would like to hear from you.We are looking for dynamic, friendly, hardworking individuals witha flexible “can-do” attitude to work.

Provide a comprehensive and quality administrative and scheduling service to the designated department and the patients, manage and prioritise their workload liaising closely with the other administration staff, Vascular Scientists/Sonographers, Ward Staff and management in the Department.
