We have a fantastic career opportunity to join and be part of a collaborative and passionate HR & OD Service dedicated to fostering a positive and high performing work culture.

As the HR Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading and ensuring the continuous improvement of our Payroll, Recruitment and HR Advisory teams to ensure they deliver effective and efficient services to our workforce. You will be the Councils lead on all associated employee lifecycle matters ensuring your teams support the strategic aims of the Council, its Workforce strategy and relevant transformation programmes.

In this role, you will provide professional advice on the application of the council’s policies and procedures and will be required to use your professional and commercial judgement to support the continuous improvement of service delivery and the delivery of a high-performance culture.

We are looking for an inspirational leader with a Level 7 CIPD, with substantial experience of human resources management and operational HR&OD in a large and diverse organisation. You will have significant operational HR and/or payroll and recruitment experience. The successful candidate will be outcome driven and will have excellent people skills with the ability to influence and build strong relationships at all levels.
