Summary

Job Description

Scotland's largest Planning Authority seeks a motivated and inspirational planner with extensive Development Management experience to operate as a Principal Planner.

The successful candidate will work with a group of experienced planning officers supporting and guiding them in processsing an exciting range of planning and development applications.

Working predominantly on city centre development, the role will involve cases including listed building consent, a broad range of commercial projects along with supporting the delivery of strategic objectives around re-purposing buildings, boosting the city centre population and delivering on net zero targets.

Glasgow City Planning are a close knit team of committed planners, architects, heritage and technical officers who offer a supportive work environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in continuing this ethos and ensuring we provide a constructive and efficient service.
