Summary


Are you an excellent communicator and want to make a tangible difference to the lives of children and young people?

Come and join our compassionate and caring team in Buckinghamshire's Children and Young People's (CYP) Therapy Service. As a Link Therapy Worker you will work as part of a small team under the direction of the Communications and Engagement Lead to provide support to education settings and family centres in Buckinghamshire to enable the CYP Integrated Therapies clinical teams to support children with therapy needs.

As part of new investment through recommissioning of the service, you will enable the service to reach a wide audience, with a focus on tackling health inequalities ensuring that all children can access the support they need.





The link therapy workers will coordinate delivery of a range of activities which including to:

· Provide personalised support to education settings and family centres to coordinate therapy assessments, embed therapy interventions and promote wider workforce training to support children with SEND

· Work closely with education settings and SEND advisors to support children's needs using the Graduated Approach

· Foster empowerment in setting staff by being a consistent, familiar contact

· Coordinate access to more specialist support when needed

· Signpost available support services and groups locally for children and young people with SEND
