Summary

Sister/Charge Nurse - Ward & Day Unit Right now we have an opportunity for a full time Sister/Charge Nurse to join our ward and day unit team at Tees Valley Hospital, Middlesbrough. To provide a high standard of individualised patient care as part of the clinical team and leading the provision of efficient surgical services for the hospital. The Role Working as part of the team to provide a high standard of efficient, individualised patient care. Working autonomously and with the ability and clinical competence to undertake a range of extended practice including post operative surgical care. Participate in care delivery, acting as a role model ensuring the highest levels of professional standards. A proficient leader who will assist with staff absence management and rostering staff to ensure efficient use of staff hours within the department. To participate in the clinical governance agenda, ensuring audits are undertaken and the investigation of incidents/complaints. Supporting services as delegated by the ward manager. A strong communicator with exceptional standards for customer service. Adhering to all of Ramsay's policies and procedures to ensure the best possible clinical outcomes for patients. A strong advocate of the Ramsay Way and People Caring for People. What you'll bring with you Essential Registered General Nurse. Diploma/degree in a health related subject. Previous experience in a team leading role. High standards of clinical competence. Sound written and verbal communication skills. Previous exposure in a senior role to external stakeholders such as consultants, physicians, allied health professionals, patients and suppliers. Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the business. A passion for delivering an excellent patient-focus service. Strong organisation skills and attention to detail. Desirable Previous clinical supervisory experience. Previous mentorship experience. Audit and report writing skills.
