The Transition Planning and Change Manager develops and manages the overall plans for service transitions and coordinates the required resources.

They control the life-cycle of all changes, enabling beneficial changes to be made with the minimum of disruption to IT services.

As Transition Planning and Change Manager there will be amble learning and development opportunities with the successful candidate being able to work towards their ITIL Foundation qualification within role if not already held.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for producing the plans and coordinating the resources to enable the Services to be transitioned into service operation.
  • Responsible for coordinating activities across projects, suppliers, and service teams to enable transactions to be delivered with minimal disruption and greatest business benefit.
  • Required to Identify and report risks, ensuring effective management to minimise the change of failure and disruption across the transition activities.
  • Ensure that changes to Configuration Items are recorded in the CMS allow the organisation to correctly utilise these resources and ensure legal compliance.
  • Communicate with all major stakeholders (internal and external) to ensure that all business objectives are understood, planned, and delivered.
