Summary

1:1 SEN Support

Teaching Personnel in partnership with a primary school to appoint an SEN Support Assistant. You will need to be able to travel to Liverpool. Having experience working in the care/support or education sector is desirable.

The Role

As a 1:1 SEN Support Assistant you will be working with an individual pupil who requires additional support. The provision is a SEN specialist class catering for pupils aged between 4-5 years all who will have an EHC (Educational Health Care) plan. As a 1:1 you will be required to follow your pupils EHC plan and put their needs first. The behaviour within the school can be very challenging so you will need to be able to diffuse high pressured situations in a calm and professional manner whilst putting the needs of the pupils first.

• Full-time hours Monday - Friday.

• Experience in the care/support/education system desirable.

• No relevant qualifications to education required.

• Liverpool based - able to travel to and from daily.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
