Summary
An opportunity has arisen for a registered children's nurse on Sunflower Ward within Royal Derby Children's Hospital.
We are looking for a registered children's nurse to work alongside the Nursing and Medical team to deliver care to children and young people on Sunflower Ward.
We care for patients at the Royal Derby Hospital attending for Surgical Procedures from a number of specialities including ENT, Orthopaedics, Maxio Facial, and Medical day case including Blood Transfusions, Food Challenges. We provide care for children and young people aged 0 -16 years.
If you are dedicated to making a difference within the Daycase setting for children and young people, then this is the opportunity for you.
The role includes working with babies and young people who are attending for medical and surgical day case procedures.
Applicants must hold RSCN or RN child branch. RN applicants will be considered with appropriate experience.
You will be responsible and accountable for the delivery of high quality, effective, and compassionate nursing care, including assessment, planning, implementing and evaluating of holistic and individualised care. This will be in line with local, Trust wide and national policies, procedures, values and behaviours.
