We are looking for a Complaints and Information Officer to join our small team in the Registration and Revalidation Directorate on a 12-month fixed term contract.

What you’ll be doing

In this role, you will work closely with colleagues at all levels to provide a exceptional level of service to external customers, making every interaction count and supporting us in being a compassionate regulator.

Your main responsibilities will be:

Handling and investigating complaints
Drafting high-quality written responses to complaints, using clear and empathetic language
Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement from customer feedback
Logging activities on the GMC’s customer relationship management system
Assisting with reporting and analysis of complaints
You can find more detail on the tasks you will undertake, and the essential skills required for the role in the job description.

This role requires attendance at the Manchester office once a fortnight on a Wednesday.

How to apply for the role

Please provide a CV and covering letter. The covering letter should clearly set out how you meet the essential skills for the role, which are listed in the job description. You should also include a paragraph outlining your reasons for applying for the role.

We recommend no more than 2 sides of A4 for the covering letter, but it can be more if required.

We will assess the information you provide against the skills required for the role and let you know whether you will progress to the next stage of the recruitment process.

If you do not provide all the above, we will not be able to progress your application and your application could be withdrawn.
