We have over 150 branches across England and Wales as well as our Support Office in Alcester, Warwickshire. We’re now looking for a Sales Enablement and Training Lead to join our team in Alcester.

As the Sales Enablement and Training Lead, you will support our operations teams in improving new business sales by understanding sales training requirements and designing and delivering appropriate training plans and solutions. You will partner with line managers to ensure a sales learning needs analysis is continually in place, develop and deliver comprehensive training plans, and ensure all sales training aligns with Helping Hands values, L&D principles, and legal requirements. This role involves evaluating and improving training solutions, providing ad hoc coaching, and sharing sales improvement opportunities with key leaders.

Main Responsibilities

  • Partner with line managers to ensure a sales learning needs analysis is continually in place for target audiences
  • Develop and deliver a training plan incorporating a range of effective sales training solutions (e.g., F2F, digital, remote learning, 3rd party) to meet target audience requirements
  • Ensure all sales training drives commercial performance and aligns with Helping Hands values, L&D principles, and legal and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure sales training is included in required new starter induction processes
  • Provide ad hoc support to line managers in coaching and developing specific individuals/teams
  • Implement agreed metrics/KPIs to measure the success of training solutions and provide required reporting to key stakeholders
  • Stay updated with external sales/training trends and share internally
  • Continually evaluate, revise, and improve training solutions and processes
  • Share wider sales improvement opportunities with key leaders
  • Collaborate with the wider L&D team to share best practices and ideas on training approaches, processes, content, and delivery
  • Provide general support to the L&D/wider people teams as required

About You

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have:

  • Full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle
  • Proven experience in sales training or a similar role
  • Experience in training needs analysis and developing learning interventions that drive behaviours
  • Proficiency in using training tools and technologies to provide impactful learning solutions
  • Experience engaging with stakeholders across a business to drive engagement and effect change
  • Comfort with classroom and remote delivery of content
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, techniques, and methodologies
  • Ability to motivate and inspire individuals to achieve their best performance
  • Analytical skills to assess training programme effectiveness and make data-driven improvements

Desirable

  • Field-based experience working in the service sector
  • Experience in B2C sales and customer service
  • Experience using LMS/LXP to integrate learning and competency measures
