Summary
PLEASE REFER TO THE ATTACHED JOB DESCRIPTION FOR FULL DUTIES OF THE ROLE. To work as an autonomous practitioner for patients presenting with MSK conditions or symptoms providing patients with primary assessment, diagnosis and management of their conditions within tier one and tier two of SIMS. To use advanced clinical skills and clinical reasoning to provide comprehensive diagnostic and treatment to support to patients who present with simple and complex MSK conditions. To work across Primary and Community services within SIMS ensuring an integrated care pathway for individual patients that meets their needs where appropriate. This will include directly providing self-management and advice and/or referral to other secondary care services. To take an active role in developing effective communication between Primary care services, secondary care services and other relevant care providers. To provide support on MSK clinical and service development across the whole of SIMS, along with learning opportunities for the whole multi-disciplinary team (MDT) including less experienced physiotherapists. To assist with clinical audit within the service, and contribute to the development of the service in conjunction with SIMS senior management team. PREVIOUS APPLICANTS NEED NOT APPLY
