Ignition Driver Recruitment is currently recruiting Class 1 HIAB Drivers to work around Stockton-on-Tees for our client who specialise in paving, block and concrete paving.
Before you apply for this role, you must be able to answer YES to all the questions below:
- Do you have your Class 1 Driving Licence?
- Do you have your HIAB licence?
- Are you ALLMI Trained?
- Do you have 12 months experience driving a Class 2? (Yes, you read that right - if you are a NEW PASS Class 1 driver, but you have previous experience driving a Class 1 vehicle, you are welcome to apply!)
- Do you have an up-to-date Tacho Digi Card and DCPC Card?

Class 1 HIAB Driver - Role & Responsibilities:
As a Driver for this client, you will be responsible for:
- Driving a mix of vehicles, including:
- Articulated crane vehicles
- Drawbar crane vehicles
- Rigid crane vehicles
- Delivering orders to Builders Merchants, building sites and homes across the region
- Required to keep up to date with the required pre & post-shift vehicle checks
- Expected to maintain your Driver hours in accordance with Working Time Regulations
You will be expected to drive the vehicle and operate the crane at the point of delivery.
Class 1 HIAB Driver - Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday working
- Additional hours available to cover holidays
- Start times between 05:00 and 06:00
