Your new company have an exciting and unique opportunity to join our experienced and dedicated paediatric team at East Surrey Hospital. They are expanding their skill mix and service offers within the paediatric services.
Your new role
You will be required to carry out the following Responsibilities:
Assessing and managing unwell and deteriorating patients in areas of highest clinical acuity. Working with a high level of personal and professional autonomy. Using specialist knowledge and skills to deliver independent assessment, clinical examination, diagnosis, clinical decision-making, planning of care and treatment, health promotion, and safe admission and discharge of patients.
Scope of Practice: The walk-in centres serve both Paediatric and Adult patients. Occasional cross-cover working. Ensuring practitioners work within their scope of practice. Offering training and support to empower Paediatric trained practitioners to work in an area serving both children and adults
What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor Degree in nursing, health or management related studies or evidence of equivalent knowledge and experience.
M.Sc. Nursing, Health, or Management related studies. Or Post Graduate Diploma Mentorship qualification and extensive experience of teaching and mentoring peers and junior staff.
Non-medical Prescribing.
Advanced Assessment course.
