Summary
Job Description
We’re looking for a proactive, multi-skilled technician with the ability to work across all disciplines with a bias in sound and AV. You will work as part of the Technical Department, servicing the technical requirements of all work presented by the Unicorn Theatre including productions, engagement (schools and community) projects, venue hires and events. Our schedule is principally based around daytime shows for our young audiences.
This will include the operation of productions to a consistently high standard – maintaining the integrity of the production, first line maintenance of technical equipment, show-related maintenance and housekeeping anywhere within the Unicorn Theatre and on tour.
Contract: Permanent, full-time (40 hours per week, worked across 6 days). We will consider applications for flexible working.
We will request a Basic Level Check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) as part of any conditional offer employment, in-line with our safeguarding policy.
