Summary

A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Telehandler to provide adhoc support, covering holidays and sickness across different sites on Anglesey. In this role you will provide driving duties, operational support and assist with technical tasks in order to facilitate the safe, effective and efficient running of our client’s waste facilities through receiving, sorting, processing, transporting, composting and recording of municipal wastes

In the Telehandler job you will be:

  • Operating vehicles on site;
  • Operating machinery and waste processing equipment;
  • Carrying out daily monitoring checks
  • Assisting with day-to-day operational technical support;
    • Meeting and greeting customers – adhering to social distancing requirements
    • Assisting with the control of vehicles into site
    • Assisting with heavy loads
    • Keeping the site clean and tidy

    We are keen to see your CV if you have the following tickets and experience:

      • Valid loading shovel ticket, telehandler, and skid steer loader licence (NPROS)
      • Previous experience in a similar role
      • Valid CPCS would be beneficial
      • A good work ethic, physically fit due to the nature of the role and happy to work outdoors
      • Strong customer service and communication skills
      • Fluent Welsh speaking is desirable as it is also a customer facing role
      • Your own steel toe cap boots and waterproofs, other PPE will be provided
      • Full UK driving licence (own transport is an advantage due to location of some sites)

      This is a temporary vacancy, available on an adhoc basis with a competitive hourly pay rate of £12.38 per hour plus holiday pay. Working hours will vary but normally 9.30am – 5.00pm as and when required and will include weekends on a rota basis.
