Are you a dedicated and compassionate professional with a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of children and young people? Social Care & Education have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Supported Accommodation Manager to join our team on a permanent basis.
The main responsibilities of this position are listed below:
• Ensure the smooth running of the home
• Lead and inspire the team
• Supervise staff, including probation and appraisals
• Guide, support, and train staff members
• Develop and implement support plans
• Regularly assess and review young people's progress
• Collaborate with professionals, families, and external agencies
• Plan and lead team meetings
• Maintain accurate records and reports
• Handle and manage crisis situations
• Lead and implement policies and procedures
To be considered for this position, we would like it that you:
• Level 3/4 qualification in Children/Young People and Families Practitioners
• Hold or be willing to work towards Level 5 in Children, Young People and Families Manager
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in children's social care
• Demonstrate leadership and management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and empathetic nature
• Excellent organisation skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Flexible to work on a shift basis
