Summary
Sales/Business Development Manager | Luton | Full Time | Basic salary negotiable depending on experience + open-ended commission
Established in 2001, Encore Machinery are the exclusive UK importer of market-leading print finishing and packaging machinery brands.
We seek a full-time and permanent addition to our team at our Luton office. The ideal candidate should be energetic, goal-oriented, and capable of creating successful sales leads and meeting achievable targets.
Our office is based in Luton with a nationwide territory; due to the diverse nature of this role, occasional travel requiring overnight stays and working outside of normal hours may be expected.
Are you the right person for the job?
• Experience in the print or packaging sector is preferred but not essential
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and numerical, with a commercial approach
• Ability to interact with individuals at all levels of business
• Results-driven with an interest in business growth and meeting realistic targets
• Works well within a team, is adaptable, and possesses a positive "can-do" and "will-do" attitude
• Proficient with MS Office tools such as MS Word and Excel
• Clean driving licence
What will your role look like?
• Generate sales of machines and machine consumables
• Make outbound sales calls to gather information, verify contact details, and understand client requirements
• Handle inbound sales calls and emails and follow up on them in an organised manner
• Create and maintain projects within our Zoho CRM system
• Assist with marketing campaigns, website management, and maintaining an excellent social media presence
• Assist with product sampling, machine demonstrations & presentations –in person and via video
• Identify new business opportunities through sales prospecting and market research
• Stay updated on industry trends and knowledge
• Attend tradeshows and exhibitions as required
