LTF Recruitment are working alongside a Secondary School based in Leicester who are looking to appoint a Teacher of English to start September, for a long-term contract until July 2025.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons to up to Key stage 4
- Differentiating planning to meet a range of needs including provisions with children with a variety of additional learning needs.
- Creating and implementing Examination content.
- Assessing children's work against the school's assessment framework
- Liaising with the school SENCO around the progress of children with EHCPs
- Attending weekly CPD sessions within school training programme
Candidate Requirements:
- Holds qualified teacher status (NQTs Welcome)
- Is confident teaching both KS3 and KS4 English curriculum.
- Has excellent classroom control and with a proven record of managing behaviour
- Is passionate about teaching and keen to ensure that students make progress
