Summary
Adults Social Worker
Blackburn with Darwen council are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Adults Social Worker to join their community social work team. The role will involve working with adults to identify and understand their support requirements and to meet these in a way that both maximises independence and helps prevent future need. The role will be predominately based at Barbara Castle Way health centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Working with adults to identify and understand their support requirements
- Maximising independence and helping prevent future need
- Using person centred approaches
- Working with community and voluntary groups
- Utilising reablement and commissioned services
- Confident and experienced in all Legislative Frameworks associated with Adult Social Care
Requirements
- Qualified Social Worker with relevant experience
- Registered with Social Work England
- Experience in all Legislative Frameworks associated with Adult Social Care
