About the team

Our regional casework team are a small group of passionate individuals who put the beneficiary at the heart of everything they do. The role is busy and no two days are the same. You will triage welfare enquiries from branches, volunteers and beneficiaries to identify need and allocate welfare referrals to appropriate welfare volunteers. You will be liaising with a range of external agencies to support welfare cases eg. social workers, funding bodies as well as working in partnership with external organisations and developing strong links with other welfare organisations including charities and Local Authorities and Clinical Commissioning Groups. About you

You will have experience in supporting others preferably in welfare services and will be highly proficient in the use of case management databases and the use of IT, specifically Microsoft applications. You will be positive, patient and empathic with an adaptable approach to task management and a real passion for communicating and engaging with people. A high level of empathy and resilience are required as you may be speaking with beneficiaries who are feeling anxious or upset.
