Summary
You will also have the opportunity to develop your training needs outside of these sessions in any of the subspecialties listed below: - Advanced Endoscopy (ERCP, Endoscopic Ultrasound, Video Capsule Endoscopy) - Clinical Nutrition & Intestinal Failure - Inflammatory Bowel Disease (complex tertiary IBD, adolescent IBD, and clinical trials) - GI Physiology Lists will typically be scheduled on weekdays but may occasionally occur in the evening or on weekends to accommodate service demand. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing both Gastroenterology inpatients and outpatients. They must be fully competent in all aspects of upper and lower GI endoscopy, as well as the management of GI bleeding. There will be on-call commitments, and full registration with the GMC is essential.
