The Role: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality maths lessons to students aged 11-16. You will play a key role in helping students develop a strong understanding of mathematical concepts, fostering a love for the subject, and preparing them for their GCSEs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
• Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and school events.
• Stay up-to-date with developments in the curriculum and best teaching practices.
Key Skills and Requirements:
• A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching maths at the secondary school level.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to engage in training and CPD opportunities.
• A collaborative and flexible approach to working with colleagues and the wider school community.
