Receptionist

Sanctuary House, Worcester

35 hours per week – Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Facilities department at Head Office, Worcester. The role of a professional Receptionist is more than simply answering the telephone or greeting visitors, it also extends to a wide range of responsibilities which include receiving and resolving customer queries with professionalism and to a high degree of customer satisfaction, redirecting incoming calls and emails, arranging couriers, issuing security passes and order raising via specialised software.

The role of Receptionist will include –

- Providing managers, staff and security with clear guidance, information, and practical advice on reception services to ensure compliance with Group policy and relevant legislation
- Assisting in the coordination, communication and maintenance of relationships with internal and external customers
- Responding positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to ensure excellent customer services are consistently delivered
- Delivering, improving, and maintaining effective and efficient administration systems to support delivery of services in accordance with policies, procedures and relevant regulations


Skills and experiences –

- Previous experience of undertaking a similar role providing excellent customer care
- Some experience analysing and diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions
- Ability to stay calm and constructive in emergencies
- Good communication, interpersonal and customer care skills
- Basic Microsoft Word and Excel
