Summary
We are the public body that looks after England’s historic environment. We champion historic places, helping people understand, value and care for them.
Historic England have a fantastic opportunity for you to join us as our Facilities Assistant.
This role is 2.5 days. We are open to discussion about the hours you can work.
What you will be doing
In this role you will ensure day to day facilities management services are delivered on site and that facilities are safe, clean, well-stocked, suitably maintained, well presented and comfortable at all times.
As our Facilities Assistant, you will act as the first point of contact for colleagues, tenants and visitors on site. You monitor performance standards of key contractors. You will also proactively resolve issues for colleagues and escalate problems appropriately.
Who we are looking for
Experience of working in a role which is customer focused.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
Good time management
Problem solving skills
You will be qualified as a first aider and fire warden or have a willingness to train in these roles.
