Summary
This role is an exciting new post developed to strengthen the senior clinical workforce within the RAP Team.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and experienced practitioner qualified or working towards Masters level, with a passion for exemplary standards of practice and complexities of Stroke patients.
The lead will work within agreed protocols and guidelines exercising independent judgement in history taking, examination, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of a diverse and undetermined caseload of critically or acutely
As a strong clinical leader, the post holder will be required to develop and implement a service that is easily identifiable, highly visible and accessible to patients, carers and staff.
This role will be accountable for theefficient and effective management of the Acute RAP service Based at the Leicester royal Infirmary
This post will lead on the strategic development and commissioning of the clinical networks, provide clinical leadership, drive patient-focused care and create a collaborative approach with the multi-disciplinary teams.
A minimum of 50% of time must be spent in clinical practice
