An opportunity has arisen for a System Support Technician to join Lancashire Fire and Rescue, an inclusive and value driven public sector organisation with an outstanding organisational culture. We offer free car parking, a generous pension and generous annual leave.
We are looking for a System Support Technician to join our ICT team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering second-line support for end-user issues related to IT and communications, ensuring timely resolution while keeping users informed about the progress of their Helpdesk requests.
As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, collaborate with third-party suppliers, and contribute to the growth of our ICT services. The successful candidate should be passionate about technology and helping others, and have experience of working in an IT service desk and have the following:
• ITIL Foundation Level 3
• Level 3 Qualification in a computing related subject, or equivalent level of experience
• AZ900 Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, or equivalent experience
