The Early Years Professional Development Programme

Education Development Trust has already successfully delivered two Early Years Professional Development programmes. We are now in a third phase of delivery. Our focus in this programme is to deliver high quality professional development to practitioners working in the Early Years sector in England. The programme is part of the government’s Early Years Education Recovery package and is designed to help address the impact of the pandemic on the youngest and most disadvantaged children. The programme offers high quality, evidence based professional development for up to 10,000 Early Years Practitioners.

The programme is already being accessed by 10,000 Early Years Practitioners and we have received excellent feedback from practitioners who have benefitted from the programme to date on the significant impact that the programme has had on their own practice and the development of the children they support.

The role of Early Years Practitioner Contact Agent

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to work as an Early Years Practitioner (EYP) Contact Agent and be part of our Engagement and Retention Team. The EYP Contact Agents provide frontline support to Early Years Settings and Practitioners engaging with our professional development programme. Contact Agents provide high quality support to the Early Years Practitioners (EYPs) and to support them with their learning journey and respond to ongoing programme queries that they may have throughout the life of the programme.

You will have:

Experience of delivering excellent customer service
Experience of working in a fast-paced setting
Experience of working on multiple projects and tasks
Evidence of having operated in a pressurised environment
The ability to deal with all types of queries over the phone, by email, or by using Live-Chat
Excellent customer service skills
Effective organisational and administrative skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines
Excellent IT skills
