Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a newly formed Property Assets team at Dover District Council. We are expanding our existing team and looking for a Strategic Systems and Performance Officer.

The Role

Working within the Property Assets team and reporting to the Head of Property Assets, the Strategic Systems and Performance Officer will lead the improvement of all Property Assets systems, integrating housing and corporate functions where possible to help deliver service excellence. The role will work with both housing and corporate teams and lead on data collection and performance reporting within the team.

The successful candidate will fit seamlessly into our busy team, sharing in our commitment to deliver excellence.


What are we looking for?
- A minimum of 3 years' experience of working with systems in an asset management environment
- Ability to carry out independent research and communicate complex issues in a simple and easy to understand manner
- Proven ability to adapt to new systems and processes and take others on the journey
- Experience of leading, motivating and inspiring others, focusing on successful outcomes and providing support to a team
- Excellent IT, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under your own initiative and to manage workload to ensure deadlines and targets are met.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in approach
- Qualified to Degree level (or equivalent)
- Experience of working in the public sector (desirable)
