Job Title: Primary Phase Lead

Location: Meadowcroft - The Lodge, Wakefield, West Yorkshire

Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent, Term time

Start Date: September 2024

Due to growth in service, we are looking for a Primary Phase Lead to join our amazing team at Meadowcroft - The Lodge located in Wakefield.

About the role

The successful candidate will work with the Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for the learning and achievement of all pupils in your class(es), ensuring the best opportunities for all, along with ensuring standards throughout a phase group. Our smaller class sizes mean you can focus on building a purposeful learning environment that meets individual educational needs of pupils, helping to narrow the gap for pupils who are behind where they should be.

General duties

Develop own professional knowledge and skills through courses and reading, aligning with school’s ethos and current strategic needs
Attend meetings and lead where required
Lead whole school and specific phase assemblies
Where required, prepare and deliver reports to relevant groups (governors, parents, etc)
Manage and monitor budgets within your area
