Summary
We have another full time position available for a Portable Appliance Tester (PAT Tester).
Join a successful PAT Testing company based in Glasgow mainly covering Central Scotland.
£25K starting salary + expenses (OTE 30K+) with frequent overtime and the option of adding a small company van with fuel card for the right applicant.
Working hours may vary slightly but will mostly be Monday - Friday between 8am and 4pm.
The ideal candidate should have experience of carrying out PAT Testing, hold a 2377 City & Guilds Certificate or very close equivalent, be able to pass a full enhanced DBS check, have a full clean driving licence and have access to their own reliable transport (unless a company van is offered)
You will be required to visit a variety of businesses throughout Central Scotland and carry out In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (PAT) in accordance with the current edition of the IET Code of Practice. You should also be confident in repairing minor faults and be able to identify non-repairable faults.
Company uniform including PPE, Seaward Apollo test machinery, any required tools & company mobile phone will be provided.
