People Systems Team Leader (SuccessFactors)

We use SAP SuccessFactors as our core HR system with Megapay as our in-house payroll application, and the ongoing development and improvement of the system is key to our continued success. You will be involved in the development and maintenance of the system and process documentation, including development of relevant guidance notes. Delivering good customer service, through a small team and third-party partners.
What you will be doing
- Develop of best practice approaches and up-skilling of People system team
- Primary engagement into the HR and payroll teams, travelling to Operational Units as required.
- Be responsible for maintenance, quality and consistency of HRIS system information, including changing configurations, security, reporting and workflows
- Troubleshoot, analyse, detect, identify and correct technical problems and deficiencies.
- Be able to support other members of the People/end-user community by providing “how-to-do” type of support – act as primary key contact to HRIS system for all Murphy users.
- Working within the Murphy IT team to escalate technical issues and ensure that appropriate solution is found or issue further escalation to vendor, if needed
- Work closely with HR and payroll teams to review and assess impact of new HRIS system upgrades – to find ways of limiting the risks involved in introducing new system upgrades.
- Responsible for developing, standardising and maintaining all HR reports which will provide management with information on compliance, operational effectiveness and people management e.g. headcount, turnover, performance, absence and more
- Plan resource requirements to ensuring technical delivery to agreed plans
- IT service support management of all incidents, problems and service requests
Who we are looking for
- Thorough knowledge, experience and understanding of SuccessFactors functionality, configuration and data structures/management.
- Experience working with SuccessFactors or on a SuccessFactors implementation project in a mid to large organisation.
- Essential to have worked extensively with Employee Central as well as at least one of either Recruitment, Onboarding or Learning modules.
- Will have worked either within an HR Operations team working closely with IT or an IT team working closely with HR Operations
- Experience working with payroll systems is highly desirable.
- Must have experience of IT processes such as writing scripts, testing and change management.
