Summary
Mortuary Assistant Band 3
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mortuary Assistant to join the Mortuary Department of Croydon Health Services
The purpose of this post is to assist the Anatomical Pathology Technicians in the running of a safe, secure, effective and comprehensive mortuary service.
The post holder’s main functions will be in the Mortuary. The post holder will also need to carry out transfers between different sites, therefore needs a full driving license
The department works 5 days a week, though the successful applicant may need to participate in the out of hours Mortuary on-call rota.
Applications are invited from self-motivated candidates who have excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage and prioritise their own workload.

Management of deceased transfers internally and to other establishments outside the trust
Keeping up to date Mortuary records
Cleaning of equipment, and helping maintain department services
