Prospero is supporting an SEN school located in Brent who are seeking Special Needs Teachers to teach full-time in their state-of-the-art school. The school teach over 300 students with additional learning needs many students with additional complex medical conditions or are diagnosed with Autism. School has a transdisciplinary approach that focuses on the development of each student's communication skills, independence, and physical and artistic development.
ABOUT THE SCHOOL AND Autism Specialist SEN Teacher CONTRACT:
A medium-sized SEN school
Autism Specialist SEN Teacher
The solid SLT who are supportive and on hand
Exceptional support staff both teaching assistants and carers
Supportive team and a strong leader
Outstanding CPD programme
Outstanding facilities - hydrotherapy pool, shop, garden to grow plants,
Department with a collaborative approach to planning, delivery, and assessment
Supportive yet high-energy atmosphere
This is a full-time position including planning and marking
Interviewing ASAP
THE RIGHT AUTISM SPECIALIST SPECIAL NEEDS TEACHER WILL BE:
Hold a degree and a teaching qualification
Confident or interested in teaching students with Special Needs
Creative, patient, and willing to think outside of the box
THE SUCCESSFUL AUTISM SPECIALIST SEN TEACHER WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
Exceptional degree
Teaching qualification
Eligibility to work in the UK
Be able to provide teaching references for the last 2 years
A fully enhanced DBS on the online update service
Salary paid to scale - £190 - £P250 per day Outer London pay
