Then we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are looking for a Transport Planner based in Pontypool.
Transport Planner Benefits:

- Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm (flexible hours may be available) 40 hours per week.
Transport Planner Responsibilities:
- Collecting and analysing transportation data to understand current usage patterns and predict future trends.
- Creating transportation plans that meet the needs of the public and adhere to regulatory requirements, considering factors like traffic flow, environmental impact, and economic viability.
- Collaborating with stakeholders working with government agencies, private companies, and the community to gather input and build support for transportation projects.
- Performing feasibility studies, impact assessments, and cost-benefit analyses to evaluate potential projects.
- Managing projects overseeing transportation projects from conception to completion, ensuring they stay on schedule and within budget.
- Advising on and developing transportation policies that promote sustainable and efficient transport solutions.
- Continuously monitoring transportation systems and evaluating the effectiveness of implemented plans and policies.
Transport Planner Experience / Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a planning role.
