Summary

The post holder will provide leadership and motivation regarding the contribution of nursing to health care and forge links with those involved in the development of the cardiology service both internally and externally. They will analyse service performance by undertaking regular audits and participate in the strategic development of the service. The post-holder will have an important educational role with not only patients and their families but also with other clinicians (medical and nursing) providing specialist advice , education and training to other staff and students in raising awareness of cardiac conditions. They will be an accessible, approachable, highly visible role model to patients, relatives and clinician colleagues. Please refer to the Job Description for further details.
